The Arc and Flash Lamps division of Heraeus Noblelight (business group specialty light sources) develops and manufactures Xenon and Krypton Arc and Flash lamps. These specialty light sources are successfully used in many laser and non-laser applications, such as welding, cutting, marking, medical, cosmetic and solar simulation.

We specialise in the development of high performance and efficient, customer-specific lamp solutions. By means of our development process, which integrates individual customer requirements and cooperation with external research and development resources, we continuously improve lamp performance parameters. For example, we have increased the customised operating life of our light sources by a factor of five. This provides benefit in terms of significantly longer machine running time, longer service intervals and lower life cycle costs.
